I have to take regular breaks from working on my stuff because otherwise my head falls off (sort of). Also my MIL is here this week, so we’re taking her out for a spin and I am making all sorts of updates to my websites because I’ve been neglecting those for a while so this week you’re just getting a little link dump.
Other newsletters to subscribe to
I believe in paying it forward so while I am away this week, maybe try my favorite newsletters on for size:
Shortlisted! Again!
It’s beginning to get a little always-the-bridesmaid-never-the-bride with this, but I have once again been nominated for the Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year Awards! This time with a lil’ recipe I developed for Tummie Magazine and enhanced with a brilliant recipe by Cathy Erway.
Pandan fudge!
It’s been a while but I’ve also finally been able to share a recipe with you again! It’s pandan fudge, it’s by Francis Kuijk en it’s delicious and easy.
I’m going through changes
So I haven’t updated my website for really real in about a year, there was that book that came out, the whole international move thing going on and just… life.
In order to get back on track I have to update the about-pages, clean up some stuff and get back into sharing stuff there on the regular. The English website is almost done, but the Dutch website still needs a complete overhaul.
I am now also a verified Bookshop.org person, so you will be seeing more affiliate links from me in the future. Basically, the plan is to share free recipes from existing cookbooks (with tweaks, tips and tricks from my end) and affiliate links on my ad-free websites, while I will start sharing exclusive recipes via a paid Substack newsletter later in the year. This is so that I can live and I hope you’re all down with me.
See you in two weeks!
Lots of love,
Dorothy
